No later than 28 January 2025, a new House of Commons must be elected at a general election. The political likelihood is that the election will be held much sooner - e.g. May or June 2024.
Subject to approval by the House of Commons, new constituencies will apply.as a result of proposals put forward by the four Boundary Commission within the UK.

Under section 4 of the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 (legislation.gov.uk), the present Parliament automatically dissolves at the beginning of 17 December 2024. That will be five years from the date when the Parliament first met - i.e. 17 December 2019..

Allowing for the longest possible general election campaign, the latest date for a general election is therefore 28 January 2025.
Parliament could be dissolved before December 2024 since the date for "triggering" or "calling" a general election will be decided by the Prime Minister who will "advise" the King to dissolve Parliament.
The Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 (legislation.gov.uk) repealed the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 and "revived" powers to dissolve and call Parliament. Section 2 states -
'The powers relating to the dissolution of Parliament and the calling of a new Parliament that were exercisable by virtue of Her Majesty’s prerogative immediately before the commencement of the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 are exercisable again, as if the Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 had never been enacted'
