There is no question that it is Parliament which makes the law.

I agree on this as we have no choice.Records searchhttp://www.identitypi.com/record-search.phpnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110794854146484721.post-55287983802417218232011-02-17T18:08:40.288+00:002011-02-17T18:08:40.288+00:00I think Mr Costa was ill advised to comment at all...I think Mr Costa was ill advised to comment at all. To do so is to enter the political arena which judges really ought not to do. After all, he is the President of the European Court of Human Rights. However, he probably doesn't really care too much now since he retires this year.

I agree that May's timing is interesting. The government has clearly decided to beat the anti-Europe drum so we can expect more of this. Of course timing is everything in politics. One week we have the popular media's bete noire (prisoner voting) and the next week there is "paedophiles have rights." All guaranteed to get certain newspapers worked into a frenzy.ObiterJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04544226917595022902noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110794854146484721.post-82673104889943064892011-02-17T12:02:48.431+00:002011-02-17T12:02:48.431+00:00It is curious why Theresa May decided to suddenly ...It is curious why Theresa May decided to suddenly come out against this decision which was made months ago.
